. . . Central Minnesota Community Foundation Board Chair, Steve Laraway, recently established a corporate advised fund for his company, Laraway Financial Advisors, Inc. and he is pleased with how it is working for his team. Steve Laraway stated, “We had worked with funds in the past and saw the efficiency of their usage and wanted something like that for our organization. Having a corporate advised fund has exceeded our expectations. Our corporate advised fund allows us to centralize our charitable giving and we can make contributions to the fund whenever we want. We formed an internal charitable committee to make granting decisions which been great for our team. It makes a lot of sense for us and we think it would make sense for a lot of other organizations in our community."
